Recent Club Results
Scottish Youth Championships - 21st/22nd June 2014
Our young fencers produced same great results at the Scottish Youth Championships.
Comrie is now the Scottish U17 Foil Champion and Angus B. claimed the Scottish U12 Foil Champion title.
We also brought back 3 silvers, Mhairi and Finlay in the U17 foil and Angus C. in the U12 foil.
And to complete the medal haul, 3 bronze - Dylan in the U17 Epee, Oskar in the U17 Foil and Milenka in the U12 Foil.
Dylan came 5th in the U17 foil and Thomas also claimed 5th in the U12 foil, both of them have many years left in those age groups so fantastic results!

LPJS Scotland - 7th/8th June 2014
The club enjoyed a great weekend in Linlithgow at the Leon Paul London junior series Golds were won in the u15 foil by Finlay and the u13 épée by Dylan. Mhairi and Milenka took silver in u15 and u11 girls foil. Thomas took home a bronze in the u11 foil. We are massively proud of all our fencers who took part over the two days and the great support they gave one another.

British Under 10 Foil Championships 2014 - 25th May 2014
Jaimie, Peter and Thomas travelled down to Much Wenlock for the British under 10 foil championships and our youngsters certainly made the trip worthwhile :) There were 56 fencers competing and Jaimie brought home Silver (after a very close 10-9 final), Peter took Bronze and Thomas also made the top ten :) Absolutely amazing results boys - huge well done!

IAPS FENCING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014 - 10/11th May 2014
Murray and Peter Caughey competed in the annual IAPS championships representing their school, Loretto. The brothers did Loretto and Salle Holyrood proud :) Gold for Peter in the U11 foil and Silver for Murray in the U14 foil - superb results!
British Youth Championships - 3rd-5th May 2014
We sent 11 fencers down to Sheffield for the BYCs this year, and they did us proud! Top results were Angus Bradie who took 6th place in the U12 Boys Foil and Mhairi McLaughlin who claimed 7th in the U14 Girls Foil.

BYC 2014 Results
Veterans Fencing 4 Nations - 26/27th April 2014
Sean Walton was part of the Mens Foil winning team in the Vets 4 Nations, the poule sheet makes good reading :) Overall Scotland came 2nd!

Durham LPJS - 12/13th April 2014
Salle Holyrood enjoyed its’ must successful LPJS to date in Durham over the weekend of 12/13th of April. Jaimie Cook claimed the U9 foil, Peter Caughey took the gold in the U11 foil and Dylan Morrison rounded of a great weekend winning both the U13 foil and epee! Murray Caughey took silver in the U13 after a great run to the final after being seeded 11th out of the poules. Mhairi McLaughlin brought home a bronze in the U15 girls foil.
Glasgow Open - 5/6th April 2014
We sent 10 fencers to the Glasgow open over the weekend of the 5/6th April. Special mention goes to Mhairi(14) who finished 5th in only her second open - amazing performance. Full results here Glasgow Open Results

Yorkshire LPJS
Dylan was delighted to pick his first ever LPJS Gold medal at the Yorkshire LPJS on the 23rd March 2014
