History
Salle Holyrood was formed by Sean Walton and Keith Cook to provide a positive training environment that would encourage and support all our members to achieve their potential and to provide a pathway into mainstream fencing for the many children who had been introduced to the sport through Fencing Fun classes.
The search for suitable premises to hold a thriving fencing club took a lot longer than we initially anticipated but with help from ClubSport Edinburgh and the Active Schools network we finally found our home at Holy Rood High School. The main sports hall is big (4 badminton courts) and the floor and lighting are excellent. An ideal home for Salle Holyrood!
