Edinburgh Summer Sparring Camp

THE EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SPARRING CAMP 2025

Embark on an unforgettable fencing experience at The Edinburgh Summer Sparring Camp, exclusively for foilists and led by Salle Holyrood and GB Coach, Keith Cook with guest coaches Pawel Osmanski (Fencer’s Club London) and Chris Galesloot (Allez Fencing).

• Venue: Cargilfield School Edinburgh 45 Gamekeeper’s Rd, Cramond, Edinburgh EH4 6HU
• Dates: August Saturday 2nd – Wednesday 6th 2025
• Parking: Free parking
• Times: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Additional Options: Individual one-to-one lessons available each day before and after the camp at an extra cost of £30 per 20-minute lesson.
• Groups: All Age groups welcome from 9yrs+ not suitable for complete beginners. If your not sure please email keith.salleholyrood@gmail.com 
• T-Shirt: T-shirt for all Fencers booked onto the full 5 day camp

Camp Highlights:

• Open to all ages and skill levels (excluding absolute beginners).
• International cadet (u17’s) and junior (u20’s) fencers contribute to the consistently high-quality fencing environment.
• Younger fencers will be grouped based on their skill level for personalised attention and development.
• Fantastic time of Year to be in Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Lots to do and see in this amazing city.

Structured Learning: The camp is meticulously organised to maximise your learning experience through diverse processes, providing you with invaluable skills to take back to your clubs, along with fresh ideas to enhance your fencing.
